Summary:

Work with engineers and other technicians in support of prototype testing, follow-on testing, fabrication of test harnesses and fixtures, troubleshooting RF, analog and digital based systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform unit (board level) testing of RF, signal processor, digital and other systems with engineering direction and or written test procedures.
  • Perform system level testing and assembly following system test instructions and or engineering direction; all testing is Non-ATE using discrete test equipment.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify, define, or solve problems that may arise during testing.
  • Accurately complete documentation and record data as required by test instructions.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Electronic Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or similar discipline; Bachelors in engineering preferred.
  • Minimum five (5) years of related experience; experience in radar, EW and communication based systems preferred. Equivalent combination of training and experience, either military or civilian, will be considered.
  • Practical understanding of Electronic concepts.
  • Must be able to understand and interpret electronic schematics, electronic drawings, mechanical drawings, test and assembly instructions, and specifications.
  • Work with electronic test equipment; Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes.
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficient with hand tools related to assembly and disassembly of electronic systems and components.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen; applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
