Industrial Engineering Project Leader: This position is a core team member on new product development teams. This position is responsible for managing the timing and delivery of complex manufacturing processes & equipment required to support new launches or upgrades to existing products both in domestic and international locations.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage projects with multiple technical components for the production of new and existing products within budget and on time. Core team member on new product development teams.
  • Accountable for industrial engineering team deliverables, within a matrix organization, to ensure successful launch of new equipment and products into manufacturing environments (domestic/international). Inclusive of equipment, work instructions, routings, etc.
  • Manage all documentation needed to support industrial team deliverables on new product development teams.
  • Work with international locations to support manufacturing launches.
  • Develop and/or maintain accountability for assembly line concept, cycle time, and labor requirements.
  • Oversee and implement the design, development, and implementation of new methods and processes to improve productivity.
  • Develop capital budget requests and monitor budgets for capital expenditures.
  • Research solutions to complex technical problems and recommend cost effective resolution approaches

Required Qualifications for this role include:

  • Bachelor s degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related field.
  • 5 7+ years experience with 3+ years experience managing projects
  • Any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Ability to manage projects, including planning and organization, decision making, problem solving, project management, delegation, and employee development.
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and processes, including flow, layout, and assembly.
  • Computer skills, including the use of SAP and PLM or similar software, as well as standard office tools such as MS Office suite.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including group presentation, negotiation, and influencing.
  • Knowledge of and experience using Motion-Time Methods (MTM) is helpful.


  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally as needed required (15-25%).
