Associate Director Applications - REMOTE

OUTSTANDING EMPLOYER IN SYRACUSE, NY SEEKING AN ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF ENTERPRISE APPLICATIONS

This position is primarily remote with occasional visits to Syracuse, NY as needed

Must be at least US Permanent Resident to be considered.

Preference will be given to NY State residents.

The role:

Reports to the IT Director for Enterprise Applications and is responsible for the deployment and user experience with enterprise systems, including:

ERP solutions (e.g., Oracle, PeopleSoft), and integrated systems.

Works closely with leads in business units to understand objectives, and optimize use of delivered features and integrations of on-premise and cloud-based applications.

Supervises analyst/developers in support of enterprise applications, including fit-gap analysis, design and development of solutions as well as troubleshooting and problem solving.

Contribute to project planning for product updates, upgrades, integrations, and customizations, including project analysis and management.

Recommend solutions and approaches for implementation and manage a team to provide analytical and technical support.

Enable informed decision-making on projects and develop ERP strategy by staying apprised of vendors roadmaps.

Help migrate the organization and business units to SaaS and adopt integration technologies.

Must have:

Bachelor s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

5-7 years of enterprise application experience with demonstrable increase in responsibility.
Combination of both functional and technical knowledge.
PeopleSoft application experience highly desirable.
Experience in Higher Education highly preferred.
Participation in programs designed to promote inclusion and accessibility.
Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to translate functional goals into actionable technical requirements, and to explain technical capabilities and constraints as appropriate to the audience.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000

Actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level.
