Job Description
Direct-Hire / On-Site (Greater Utica Area)

POSITION OVERVIEW: We're seeking a skilled Cost Accounting Analyst to join our global finance team. This role involves complex cost accounting analysis, reporting, and driving process improvements across our organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage product costing and ERP inventory system administration
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and corporate financial policies
- Maintain and update standard costs, labor rates, and overhead rates
- Prepare month-end close entries and reconciliations for inventory-related accounts
- Partner with supply chain and operations teams to evaluate efficiency and performance
- Support audits, tax reporting, and global transfer pricing
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 5+ years of relevant cost accounting experience
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and various costing methods
- Experience with multi-currency and multi-site operations is a plus
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
