Key Responsibilities
- Build strong relationships with business units, advocating for application utilization, support, and training.
- Analyze the needs of business units to ensure applications meet performance expectations.
- Monitor application usage, identify gaps, and suggest workflow improvements.
- Lead decision-making regarding custom modifications when appropriate.
- Manage vendor relationships to stay updated on product roadmaps.
- Ensure applications are accessible and compliant with relevant standards.
- Recruit, hire, and manage IT analysts and developers, providing guidance and feedback for professional growth.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT team, including troubleshooting, handling change requests, and project management.
- Maintain application documentation, including business process guides and standard operating procedures.
- Track key performance metrics to improve team efficiency and service delivery.
- Encourage ongoing professional development for team members in both IT and leadership.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and collaborate with leadership to align projects with organizational goals.
- Engage with industry user groups to stay informed about trends, features, and issues.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience
- Over 5 years of experience with enterprise applications, showing increasing responsibility.
- Combination of both functional and technical knowledge is required.
- Experience with PeopleSoft and document management systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in higher education is preferred.
- Proven ability to promote inclusion and accessibility in application design and deployment.
Salary range for this position is $84,000 - $110,000 depending on skill and professional experience.
