This is a 3-month, on-site, contract position located in the Syracuse, NY area and requires local travel to customer sites.

Description:

  • Deliver top-notch support in our retail environment, handling incoming communications and assisting walk-in clients
  • Set up, manage, and troubleshoot a wide array of tech, from servers to mobile devices
  • Tackle software challenges across popular business applications
  • Guide clients on tech maintenance and upgrades
  • Manage user accounts across multiple platforms

What We're Looking For:

  • Strong communicator with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Hands-on experience with computer hardware assembly and repair
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
  • Team player who can build strong relationships with colleagues and clients

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide multi-channel support (phone, email, in-person)
  • Manage diverse hardware and software installations and issues
  • Resolve operating system problems, from performance issues to malware removal
  • Set up new users following varied company protocols
  • Assist with logins across multiple platforms (Active Directory, cloud services, etc.)
  • Adhere to company policies and standards both in-store and on-site

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of Windows and macOS ecosystems, Office 365, and email hosting services
  • Proficiency with common business and industry-specific software
  • Hardware troubleshooting and repair skills
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
  • Linux and VoIP experience a plus
