Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including design, coding, code review, testing, and deployment.
- Perform thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning and proactively address security issues within applications.
- Manage and mentor development teams, providing guidance on technical and project-related challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals align with business objectives.
- Drive issue resolution processes by troubleshooting and providing timely solutions.
- Maintain and enhance applications using technologies such as Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Java, C#, and .NET.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve system efficiency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to incorporate best practices.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in application development with a proven track record in managerial or leadership roles.
- Strong programming experience with Visual Studio, Visual Basic, Java, C#, and .NET.
- Hands-on experience in vulnerability scanning and remediation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical work with leadership responsibilities effectively.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern development frameworks.
