Technical Support Specialist - On-Site (Syracuse, NY)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and training to our diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of audio, video, and presentation systems used in our facilities
  • Provide on-site support and problem-solving for technical issues
  • Deliver training and instruction to users on the proper operation of equipment and software
  • Perform preventive maintenance on technical systems to ensure reliable performance
  • Offer support and troubleshooting for general IT equipment and computer applications, including productivity suites and web-based tools (Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office and web-based videoconferencing applications)

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evening, weekend, and special event assignments
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience working collaboratively and supervising team members

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in a technical field or prior experience in a similar support role
  • Familiarity with the industry or domain related to our organization's work
  • Understanding of user experience principles and design best practices

Compensation: $22.00 - $26.90 an hour (Based on skills and professional experience).
